OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what do you know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have a 35 in tv with a width of 28 in the equation is what is its hight

OpenStudy (anonymous):

height**

OpenStudy (anonymous):

35 in tv meaning its diagonal is 35?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use pythogorean theorem, a^2+b^2=c^2. the 35 is the diagonal (c) and 28 is a or b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok great im trying to do this. t.y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not getting this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

28^2+b^2=35^2 Doesn't matter which one you call the length/width. that's b^2=35*35-28*28, and you take the square root of the right side to find b. Hope that helped
