No easy way to do these just plug away... 78 divided by 39472, so ... how many times does 78 go into 394? (because 78 can't go into 39) Answer = 5; 5*78=390, remainder of 4, bring down the 7, how many times does 78 go into 47? 0, then put a zero next to the 5 (=50). Now bring down the 2. How many times does 78 go into 472? Answer=6. With a remainder of 4. That's your answer: 506 remainder of 4
Sorry, technically it's 39472 divided by 78. I just was imagining the old divided by sign we all learned in school.
