what is prime factorization of 510

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

510 ends in 0 so it's divisible by 10. 51 x 10 = 510 10 = 5 x 2 and 51 is prime so 510 = 51 x 5 x 2

17 x 3 x 5 x 2

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

Oh man. 51 was not prime. :-p 5 + 1 = 6 so it's divisible by 3. :( Sorry.
