I saved text version as "lecture_2.py" on my desktop. then i tried to run it and it just flashed the python module open then closed. so i right-clicked and chose "edit with PythonWin." then i clicked run on PythonWin and its just showed up as it was saved. nothing changed...am i doing something wrong? o.0

saved the text version? what did you save? Do you mean you saved a program? I use IDLE, when I try to open a program, I open Python first then go to the file menu to open a program I wrote.

Are you using IDLE, like in the lectures? Are you having trouble running the program? To do that in IDLE, have your saved file open, go to the file menu and select run module and it will run in Shell. http://screencast.com/t/MTrBO0BfdlSC watch this tutorial if you are having trouble with these sort of things, maybe it will help its only about a minute.
