I need some websites that can guide to be effective in my speech writing
My # favorite resource is the Five Stases (steps) of a good speech. Also called the Monroe Sequence: https://docs.google.com/Doc?id=d4kg64n_1060fcmfv2d4 Other resources: 1) American Rhetoric's Top 100 Speeches: http://www.americanrhetoric.com/top100speechesall.html (Good examples can help a lot.) 2) Aristotle's ideas about ethos, pathos, and logos. (Google them and enjoy.) 3) Farnsworth's Classical English Rhetoric. http://www.amazon.com/Farnsworths-Classical-English-Rhetoric-Farnsworth/dp/1567923852 It's a book and not a website, but it's awesome for showing you how to make powerful moves with your words. You can learn a ton even by just looking at his table of contents. 4) Another book: Stand like Lincoln, Speak Like Churchill by James C. Humes, who wrote speeches for several U.S. presidents. http://www.amazon.com/Speak-Like-Churchill-Stand-Lincoln/dp/0761563512
