I need to solve this one... A rectangle has one of its points located at (7,3). Find the coordinates of the other three points if the length is four times the width and with an area of 64. thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

l = 4w -> 64 = 4w^2-> w=4 and l =16 so now add..etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What does "huh?" mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it means I cant understand!?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I gave u the length and the width. U have a corner of the rectangle so just add length and width as necessary. One small problem is that u have multiple possibilities for the rectangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okey! so I need also to find out what is the Height?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Width = Height Length = Height ?? U decide.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then after finding the H,L, and W... how about its coordinates?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why don't u draw it on a piece of paper, then u will see how easy it is...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks...
