i have installed ubuntu 10 linux on my pc. It is running occupying the whole 500 GB of hard drive as i forgot to create disk partitions while installing it. Is there any way to now create partitions on my HDD??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, use Gparted. you can find it by searching new applications, or it could be on the live cd. Just look for a partition manager. I'm not sure what the current stock partition manager is, but you can use that too.

Stock is called Disk Utility
