find the derivate of the given function and substitute the value from the piont
sorry for my english ,the average rate of change is the change in y divided by the change in x ,4^3-8=56, 56/4 =14
i am confused but i think -2 is the answer

how did you get -2?
the derivative the given function is 3x^2-2,if u substitute the value of x i e 0 then it gives -2
Nope,caution!it is average change ratio and the X is in the interval (0,4)
