how do i solve by the substitution method x-y=-5 5x+9y+67

from first equation x =- 5 + y now plug in -5+ y in second equation : 5 (-5+y) + 9y = 67 solve for y then plug value of y in first equation to get x i am assuming you mean = 67 in second equation
