Would the range of y=2sin(2x+(pi/3)) be [-2,2]? Thanks in advanced.

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin range is from [-1,1] so multiply by 2 [-2,2] it would have been lil tricky if you would have asked domain

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

no ishaan domain is all real numbers.... i believe.. principle domain would have been tough

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah thats what i meant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And the period is pi..?

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

yes

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

its 2pie/2 as it is 2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No period for normal sin function 2pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it doesn't matter what your domain is sin values will get repeated only after 2pi not before that..................... right?

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

the principle period or the shortest period other than 0 is pie......
