name some triple membranebound organelle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are no specific 3 membrane bound organelles present ! but it seems that there are a few organelesx like plastids which may occur in triple membranes as well !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Chloroplast: triple membrane; photosynthesis. the chloroplast has a triple membrane that creates three compartments in the organelle: Outer membrane contains porins, which provide ~free exchange of material between the inner membrane space and the cytosol. Inner membrane is the chief permeability barrier of the chloroplasts and contains permeases for phosphate and precursors of sucrose. Innermost membrane is the thylakoid membrane, which creates a stack of membrane-bound sacs.  Functions: Absorption of light by chlorophyll Electron transport Synthesis of ATP (ATP synthase) Synthesis of NADPH and H+.
