Which is a rational function? A. y=x^2-x+4 B. 2/x C. x-3^3/x^2 D. x-5/2

OpenStudy (amistre64):

a rational function is a glorified fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its definitly not a?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and i think it should be lettered top and bottom

OpenStudy (amistre64):

notA fer sure lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a rational function is a polynomial divided by another polynomial

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it has to be letter top and bottom then its c?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

C is my best guess; im wondering tho why B would be not be considered tho ....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

something in the specifics im sure; but id go with C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its because it has to be p(x)/q(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b technically should be one as well as c because its a polynomial of degree zero. i guess it depends on the text book
