OpenStudy (anonymous):

in mango tree, no flowers are formed after tendering the leaves, but in nutmeg flowers are formed after tendering the leaves. why ???

OpenStudy (aroub):

i srsly dont know , but i would say that every tree has it own steps , way of forming...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Probably because of the climate maybe? Or maybe it has to do with the time it is pollinated.

OpenStudy (trancenova):

Starfish sounds about right, though what does tendering mean? I suspect we may call it something different in Aust.

OpenStudy (cat):

Perhaps it's some kind of chemical response stimulated the physical touch. I know plants such as the silk plant close their leaves due to physical stimuli. But I'm not sure :)
