plz suggest site for downloading free visual studio .net 2010?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hm… i would definitely not recommend it at all. I would rather suggest learning a language that does not require a single piece of software to work with, or at least provides free software to work with. Java is a language that does not depend on solely one software. You can get Netbeans for java. Or you can use python. There are many different options out there. but if you need that software, try getting some sort of free trial.

Or you could try Visual Studio Express, which is completely free. http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/express Also none of the .NET languages require more software than Java, both the .NET languages and Java rely on a Virtual Machine to run their respectable applications, you could easily write all your C# code in notepad and feed it through the C# compiler and have a working executable.

Visual studio is free to download from microsoft website. Express version has limited posibilities, but for education it's all what you need. If you are a student of some university, you can download full Ultimate Visual studio 2010 from Microsoft Dreamspark website.
