can anybody help me with this i am really having a hard time understanding what i am suppose to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

to understand this you have to plot the matrix onto graph sheet remember that upper value is x coordinate and lower value is y coor dinate

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

once you plot it , the reflection in x axis means that x coordinate would remain same but ycoordinate would turn fron +ve to -ve or vice versa

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

and reflection in y axis means that the y coordinate would remain same and x coordiante would be turned from -ve to +ve or vice versa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is there anyway to do this without graphing it?

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

yeah like i said change the y coordinate when they ask you the reflection in x axis. and vice versa.

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

the graph thing i told you to have the idea of what we are doing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so just make everything the opposite of what it is?

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

yup exactly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so y axis is positive and x axis is negative right?
