how do i do mean median and mode?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mean is an algebric sum of all values dividing for the number of values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mode is the number more frencuency repeted, and media is the more equilibrated number on the series

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to do median you need to order the values from the smallest to highest and then pick the middle one. If the amout of values is an even number you need to do the mean of the middle 2. example: values: 4, 6, 2, 7 1 step: put in order: 2, 4, 6, 7 the median is (4+6)/2 = 5 if the amount of values is an odd number: 4, 2, 7. 1º step- put in order: 2, 4, 7 meidan = 4

mode is the number that appears the most. example: 4, 5, 5, 7, 8, 9, 2 the mode is 5. another example: 4, 5, 5, 7, 8, 9, 2 , 2 the mode is 5 and 2.
