find the Least Common Multiple of 8 and 6. LCM of 8 and 6 is 24. So multiply the entire equation by 24

With equations, you can multiply EVERY term by the LCD 24 to clear out the fractions. So multiply t/8 by 24 to get 3t Multiply t/6 by 24 to get 4t Multiply 1 by 24 to get 24 So the new equation comes out to be 3t+4t = 24. See what you can do with this new equation.
