For the segments to make a triangle the law to be checked is that "Sum of two sides is always greater than the third side". So x+11-x>x-4 which implies x<15 and also 11-x+x-4>x which implies x<7 and also x-4+x>11-x which implies x>5. Combining the three results you can infer that x must be between 5 and 7. That is 5<x<7. Which is option 5
