As above, and the graph would look like: <---------------------------O=================> -3 Note that you use an open circle on -3, and not a dot since y is greater than 3, but not equal to 3.

Also, I'm assuming that y is a real number, but the question may ask about y as a natural number, or integer which would be more like: <-------------------------\(*\)-----\(*\)-----\(*\)-----\(*\)---> -3 -2 -1 0 1 If y is natural, don't mark the negative numbers.
