Tom Bowman's wages from his after-school program doubled for three years. At the end of the third year he was making $96 per week. What were his weekly wages during the first year

OpenStudy (anonymous):

24 a week? I think like this: year 1 = x dollars/week year 2 = 2x dollars/week year 3 = 4x dollars/week = 96, so 4x = 96 and x = 24... right? make sense?

24, 48 and 96 is what i got for first, second, and third years
