Okay, so im starting to get the hang of this, but im not sure. 2(3x-4)=8x+2. Do i distribute whats in the ( ) then try and solve?

So it would be 6x-6=8x+2? Or did i do that totally wrong..?

check your multiplication 2*4=?
distribution is just mulitplication: 3x-4 2 ----- 6x -8 ; so you was close
So then i could do.. 6x-8=8x+2 6x=8x+10 -2x=10? Right,?
