I want to install ubuntu onto my computer. My disc is splited into two parts: one for OS and the other for DATA. I dont want to loose my info. Can someone teach me how to do that?

BTW, even if this procedure is "safe" don't forget to always have a backup. Just learned it the hard way.

You May try Ubuntu as dual OS... it never affect your Windows.. just Get in to Windows.. put your Ubuntu CD ... it ask for three option.. just select install inside windows.. it install like a simple software.. whenever you want to remove means.. it cleared.. and not affecting your windows... it a great thing provided by Ubuntu.. At begining.. i install Ubuntu On your Method and i Spoiled My Whole Hard Disk Data..
