3e^x=10. solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take a log of both sides. I suggest the natural one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide by 3. \[e^x=\frac{10}{3}\] Take the natural logarithm of both sides: \[\ln(e^x)=\ln(\frac{10}{3}) \rightarrow x=\ln(\frac{10}{3})\]

You can make it easier on yourself if you divide both sides by the 3 first though.

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

e^x = 10/3 take ln on both sides
