find the points at which the straight lines 3x-2y=7 and 4x+5y=-6 intersect....plzz show work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x-2y=7 Multiply 4 -> 12x-8y=28 4x+5y=-6 Multiply 3->12x +15y =-18 Subtract -> -23y = 46 -> y = -2 3x-2y=7 Substitute y = -2 -> 3x +4 = 7-> x = 1 So point of intersection is (1,-2)
