u have to solve for the 2nd term.. look at the third term, if its 5 or more than 5, the second digit will chng!

Kirsten... by nearest 100 km they mean the nearest number to 4416 which is divisible by 100. So 4400 is the nearest. Had it been anything greater than 4450 then the answer would have been 4500.
