Can you help me to solve the following inequation. (x-2)/(x2 + x -2 )>=0

OpenStudy (amistre64):

at first glance; the top should be greater than 2 and as long as the bottom factors and you eliminate the zeros ... it should be good

OpenStudy (amistre64):

top greater than or equal to 2 ... missed a part ;)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it also appears to have a little bit near zero if the graph is right: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=%28x-2%29%2F%28x2+%2B+x+-2+%29

OpenStudy (amistre64):

which probably accounts for the factoring

OpenStudy (amistre64):

(x-2) (x-2) ---------- = ---------- (x^2 +x -2) (x+2)(x-1) we have critical values of -2, 1, and 2 to test <............-2.............1...........2............> - va + va + (0) + - - + + - - - + ---------------------------------- - + - +
