i need to find the exact zero of a polynomial x^3-7x^2+11x+3. i got one answer but not sure if its true

OpenStudy (phi):

Try dividing your answer into the polynomial. If it goes in exactly with no remainder then it's a solution.

hero (hero):

What methods are you using trial and error or graphing? Graphing calculators work best in this situation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did both and ended up getting the same thing which was 3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sub 3 into poly, see if it is 0 27-63+33+3 = 0 , 3 is a root.
