pascals triange is a triangle formed by adding the two numbers above to form the number underneath. how to solve it is a more dificult question, mathematicians have worked on it since it was discovered. no one knows exactly when it was discovered but it was discovered independently in many different areas of the world. it is a truly fasinating mathematical phenominon and we can learn much from it

thats fine :) i find it fasinating the patterns that form with the numbers. it is closely related to Sierpinski's triangle, see if you can work it out ;) what grade are you in?
