find the range of y=(5x-3)/(2x+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and explain!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would be all real numbers (-inf,inf) because x values are the domain and y values are the range and no matter what number (except -.5) you put for x you will get an answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The domain would (-inf,-0.5)u(-0.5,inf )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because you can not divide by a 0. so if you set 2x+1=0 and solve for x you will get -1/2 or -0.5
