first multiply both sides by 360
then divide both sides by pi*r^2

lets take step by step as langrageson said... A=A=(pi x r^2 x S) / (360)/ (360), mult by 360 is (360)A=(pi x r^2 x S) divide both sides by pi*r^2 (360)A/(pi x r^2) = S
