The number 4 is an upper bound for the set of roots of this polynomial function. ƒ(x)=3x^4-5x^3-5x^2+5x+2 A. True B. False

Is that in sequences and series?

To do this problem you have to divide the function by x-4. I trust you can do this on your own time. In short the answer is A.

At home check, by like i said dviding by x-4, using synthtic division. Keeping in mind use synthetic division to divide f(x) by x - B, where B > 0, and we obtain a third row containing no negative numbers, then B is an upper bound for the real roots of f(x) = 0.
