Use substitution, addition/subtraction, or linear combinations to solve the linear system. 5g=3f+6 g-2f=46

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the way i would start is by solving for either f or g in one of the equations. g for the second one looks the easiest as there are no coefficients on it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

after carrying over the 2f and getting g= 2f + 46 you can then substitute it into the first equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5(2f+46) = 3f + 6 ... distribute, solve for f and the plug it back in to find g.

\[\{f\to -32,g\to -18\} \]
