i'm in search of good colleges in the US for majoring CS. i was thinking MIT but i don't think i can get in... u guys got any suggestions?

Standford, Berkley and MIT are the most recomended. Remember that in CS there are different specialities: artificial inteligence, programming languages, systems, etc. I think MIT is the best one, folowed by Standford. (Ive been in berkley but the classes are of lots of people(there are classes of up to 2000 students).

 Well...MIT isnt cheap...neither Standford or Berkley. From what i know you need an 8.5 or more in a scale of 10 in an average, but this isnt an obligation. The most important thing is the SAT (the test they make to you). Study hard for it. Also the recomendation letters of your teacher (2 or 3) are important. Your participation in clubs, being class president can also help
