Which points are solutions to the system of inequalities shown below? Check all that apply. y < x + 1 y < 4 x < 6 A.(1, 3) B.(1, -1) C.(5, 9) D.(4, -2) E.(5, 5) F.(4, 2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is just plug and chug

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x,y) so for the first point, x=1 and y=3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now put that into the first equation. y<x+1 3<1+1 3<2 since 3 is not more than two, u know that the first point doesn't work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean 3 is not less than two :)
