It's not possible to limit them per se, but feel free to use the report abuse feature when you see off topic posts. We generally delete them, unless they've already been answered.

Sounds good idea to me! If it was like a well functioning University only the University of Self Learners who are their own Professors, Lecturers etc so much the better!!!

I would stop Plagirism and cheating. It seems dead easy to ask questions that basically get someone else to do the hard thinking for you.
