Can anyone tell me how can I be charged by beating up somebody with a cat fur although the person I am beating is also getting charged.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dear, when u beating some one with cat fur...if the person is charge with a positive or negative polarity of charge then u automatically charge yourself with the opposite polarity... because the one charge by catfur let suppose haave positive charge then ur body will automatically charge with the negative polarity to face the positive one and as u r neutral before beating process, then now ur positive charges will go to the ground

The key is that the professor was standing on a rubber mat, insulating himself from earth. Because of that insulation, charge from the earth could not replace the charge transferred to the student by beating him with the fur. If professor had been "grounded" then as charge was transferred to the student, charge on the professor would have been replaced from the earth.
