hi guys can you give me some example of charging by induction ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when u hold a charged object near an uncharged body, the charges in the uncharged body redistribute themselves under the influence of the electric field produced by the charged body. in the uncharged body once the charges are realigned the charges which are not firmly held by the charged body can be grounded or neutralized and when the the uncharged body is removed from the influence of the electric field of charged body.... the charges in the 'previously uncharged' body redistribute themselves resulting in a net charge on it. this is charging by induction. i gave a very general explanation. hope i was clear enough. if u want examples, wikipedia has good ones.

An example of charging by induction is a Transformer. A transformer has at least two coils of wire that are mechanically separate from one another - they don't touch physically. When Coil 1 charges, it creates a magnetic field that flows through Coil 2. The presence of the magnetic field in Coil 2 creates a movement of electrons in the circuit of Coil 2.

water proof shaving machines. Their batteries are charged by induction. Otherwise you could caught an electric shock
