I factored the 2sect out and got

2sect ((2tant+1)/(3tant+1)) but the book says the answer is simply ((2tant+1)/(3tant+1)) and not the 2sect I factored out......does 2sect = 1?

it's really the most frustrating part of trig for me - the ability must lay in a part of my brain with a firewall between it and where algebra 1 is stored
