What is the definition of a geometric sequence?
Sequences of numbers that follow a pattern of multiplying a fixed number from one term to the next are called geometric sequences.
You can multiply by a decimal less than 1 which will result in a decreasing sequence.
e.g. multiply by 0.5 each time. 24, 12, 6, 3, 1.5, 0.75, ....
