use the slope and y intercept method graph the following equations 6x=2y+12

OpenStudy (katrinakaif):

First convert the equation to y =mx + b format so y = 6x/2 - 12/2 y = 3x - 6 Then you know the y-intercept is -6 and the slope is 3/1. Make a point at -6, rise 3 and move right one unit - make another point..and then rise 3 move right once again and make a point ..keep going until you make a line
