In the green-riemann equation, what does the dl represent? Allegedly it represents the line increment in the integration, but how do I represent that numerically?

um.... try looking for a clue number in the problem and if that doesnt help... try a math book

A clue number? Eh.. No thats how it works :P Where given a vector field F, you generally need it to compute I = closed integral of F.dl over C, where C is a triangle etc In my experience maths books only go so far as green theorem and cauchy-riemann, nevermind I'll find a lecturer and email him/her

not how it works*

Never heard of it, why don't u post the actual problem instead...
