Typo?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need area right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[10*10+(1/2)*10*10\] \[100+50=150m^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got the same...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u know area of a square and area of a triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Split this into the addition of two separate areas, the area of the triangle + square. \[A _{squaree}=l^2\]\[A _{trianglee}=(1/2)bh\] so, \[A _{total}=(1/2)bh+l^2\] Plug and chug: \[A_{total}=(1/2)(20-10)(10)+10^2\] \[A_{total}=(1/2)(10)(10)+100\]\[A_{total}=50+100\]\[A_{total}=150\]

Ok thanks.
