good evening! I really need help in simplifying the radical 20a^2b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is there a square root over that whole thing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2a*\sqrt(5b)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Under the square root, just simplify everything you have. so 2 x 2 x 5 x a x a x b You can take out a 2 because you have 2 of them, and you can take out an a because you have 2 of them. 2a root 5b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you! I had 2sqr5ab
