the coordinate system is divvied up into 4 area; and they are simply numbers from 1 to 4 2|1 --- 3|4 the center of this thing being of course the point (0,0)

so Quadrant 1 because they are both positive? right

move to the stated point and see what number your on to determine its quadrant
