how do you factor x^2-2x+24???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think you can factor that "factor x^2-2x+24"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No real roots, does not cross x-axis If u calculate b^2 -4ac and is negative, no real roots. http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=x^2-2x%2B24 (or draw a quick sketch)

(x-6)(x+4)

@cpartlow that factoring has -24 at the end.
