Part 1: graph both equations, and see where they intersect. Part 2: Substitute something from first equation into the second. For example, if you work it out, x = -2y + 9 Plug this into the second. 2(-2y+9) + 5y = 20 Solve for y. Plug back in to solve for x. Part 3: It's where the 2 lines intersect.
