y=-x+5 y=x-3 solve by graphing

OpenStudy (amistre64):

wolframalpha.com can graph it; but tell me, what does graphing show us in general?

OpenStudy (angela210793):

these r easy though...u don't need wolfram....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you can draw it by hand if need be; but my hands are busy typoing lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the idea is to get you to realize that these equations form 2 lines on a graph that will cross at a common point

OpenStudy (angela210793):

yea tht's wht i meant...but i guess Yum can graph them by herself :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

that common point is where the y value and the x value equal from equation to equation
