what is the circumcircle of a triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the diameter is the longest chord in the circle. The chord is a line that cuts through the circle.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

dia"meter" suggest a measurement, a length we often just equate the diameter with the longest chord. but thats just semantics lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

daimeter is the line passing through the center of a circle, but the chord could be but not every chord is a diameter but every daimeter is a chord
