How to define fourth dimension or four dimensional frame?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

build upon the constructs of the lower diminsions and abstract that into the higher dimensions

OpenStudy (amistre64):

each dimension adds an additional right angle to the origin to play on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Google it or Maybe wiki

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a three dimensional frame going through time. You could use the 3d and a separate time axis for everything

OpenStudy (amistre64):

time is one of those iffy topics when discussing spacial qualities i think

OpenStudy (across):

You can visualize the fourth dimension as time, meaning that you'd expect the possibility of obtaining a different graph when viewed from the same point but at a different time.

From an abstract perspective of Computer Science. I view a fourth dimension as a series of 3 dimensional arrays. It depends on the context of the question.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since time exists in a 3d framework; it really doesnt add to the dimension .... which is why trying to use it as a dimension in itself is tricky

OpenStudy (anonymous):

depends on the situation, and how you understand the 4th dimension since both the eye and the mind can't realize it's existence... :S

R(+++-) or R(---+)

Hypercube.
