integrate ((2x^3 - 12x)^300)(x-2) dx?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[1/1806(2x ^{3}-12x)^{301}+c\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure how you did that..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Unless that is supposed to be (x^2-2) on the end there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am so confused too polpak Wolfram even times out: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=integrate+%28x-2%29*%282x^3-12x%29^300

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it's x^2-2 on the end then a u-sub works fine. Otherwise it's a mess.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Indeed. lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NO. du=6x^2-12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Uh.. du does not equal 6x-12. It equals 6x^2-12

myininaya (myininaya):

Looks like a fun problem I'm on my iPhone and at a meeting though I'm not sure if this is am elementary integral or not but I wil think about it later
